Know about Prem Bist
Born in the Himalayan village of Darchula, the home to Api Himal (7,132 meters), Mr. Prem Bist has a knack for travel and tourism, to put it simply. He has been in the industry since 2003 and has visited a couple of European countries, China, and India to promote the Nepalese tourism industry on an international platform. He has also been a part of many cultural exchange programs.
Though personally not an avid trekker, he understands the importance of trekking and highland expeditions which is why he is involved in this sector. Being a Himalayan native himself, Mr. Bist adores the highlands and actively encourages people to trek to the remote villages and destinations all over Nepal.
“Trekking in Nepal has always been an important tourism factor, what we are trying to do is set a benchmark,” says Mr. Bist. His vision for Glorify Himalayas starts with providing trekkers with a flexible trek itinerary and ends with making their trek journey as memorable as possible. He also put a lot of effort into making sure that the trips are safe and sustainable.
Mr. Bist’s presence always lights up the room, he’s understanding, friendly, and most importantly genuine. He guides the whole team to be an efficient crew, giving out suggestions and solutions to issues.
